Use the gradebook
Add assessments with their maximum marks and weights, type the marks, and see each student's total and grade.
Add marks
- Open Gradebook and add an assessment with its name, its maximum marks and its weight.
- Type each student's mark. Enter moves down the column.
- Each student's total and letter grade appear as you type.
How totals work
- Totals use the weights as you give them. If the weights do not add up to 100, the page says so.
- A missing mark is left out of that student's total, and a mark above the maximum is refused.
- Grade boundaries start at A 85, B 70, C 55 and D 40, and you can change them.
The gradebook is your working record. It makes no report cards, and nothing in it is shared with students or parents.
