Create a school workspace

A school or centre gets one workspace for up to 25 teachers and 1,500 students, with a 60-day trial and no card.

Set it up

  1. Sign in, then go to tools.openeducat.org/school/new.
  2. Type the school or centre name and choose its type.
  3. Add the school email domain if teachers should join on their own. A public domain such as gmail.com cannot be used.
  4. Tick the box to confirm you may set this up for the school, then choose Create workspace.

Good to know

  • The workspace lives in the region of your account, and the region cannot change later.
  • You can belong to one workspace at a time.
  • On day 60 you choose seats, or the workspace becomes read-only for you. Teachers keep everything.
  • Every change in the settings is logged with who made it and when.
