Two-step sign-in

Add a passkey or an authenticator app, so a code in your email is not enough to open your account.

What it does

After the email code we ask for a second thing that only you have. Someone who gets into your email still cannot open your screens, saved items or My Class records. Google and Microsoft sign-ins use your provider’s own two-step check.

Turn it on

  1. Press Account on the board and choose Two-step sign-in.
  2. Press Add a passkey for Face ID, a fingerprint, Windows Hello or a security key, or press Use an authenticator app.
  3. Keep your 10 recovery codes somewhere safe. We show them once.

If you lose your passkey or phone

  • Use a recovery code. Each one works once.
  • Lost them too? Contact support. We check that it is you, email you, and remove two-step sign-in only after a 72-hour hold. The email has a link to stop it.

Report a problem

We answer within 2 working days. Your browser, language and app version are attached automatically, so you do not have to describe them.
