How to make flashcards for your class

  1. Type one card per line: the front, a comma, then the back.
  2. Choose how many cards go on a page and whether to print on both sides, and press Make cards.
  3. Choose A4 or Letter and print the cards, or choose Flip on screen to go through them with the class.

Questions teachers ask

How do the two sides line up?

Each page of fronts is followed by its backs, with the columns mirrored. In the print dialog, choose two-sided and flip on the long edge. Without two-sided printing, turn off Print on both sides: each front sits beside its back, and you fold the page down the middle.

Can I use the cards on screen?

Yes. Choose Flip on screen: a click, Space or Enter flips a card, and the arrow keys move between cards. The cards on screen carry no watermark.

Does it work in Hindi or Arabic?

Cards in any script work, also with a different script on each side, and Arabic cards read from the right.

Is my list saved?

Yes. Your list is saved to your items and opens on any device you sign in on. Print or download the cards to keep them.
