How to make a maze
- Pick a shape and a size: S for early years, M for Grade 1 to 3, L for Grade 4 and up.
- Press Build maze. Shuffle gives a new maze with the same settings; keep the seed to print the same one again.
- Print 2 pages, the maze and its solution.
Questions teachers ask
Is every maze solvable?
Yes. The maze is carved so that every cell joins the rest by exactly one route, so there is always exactly one way from Start to End.
Can two teachers print the same maze?
Yes. Share the seed shown in the Seed field; the same seed and settings give the same maze on any device.
Can I print the maze without the solution?
Yes. The solution is page 2: choose page 1 only in the print dialog, or download the PDF and share page 1 only.
