How to make a spelling worksheet
- Type your spelling words, one per line or with commas.
- Tick the exercises you want and pick the level. KG prints the largest letters.
- Press Build sheet, then print the exercises, the test and the word list.
Questions teachers ask
How does the spelling test work?
The test page has a numbered line for each word and shows no word. Read the words aloud in the order of the word list, which comes last as the key.
Which letters are left out on Missing letters?
About a third of the letters of each word, never the first. Press Shuffle to leave out other letters and mix up the words again.
How big are the letters?
KG prints at 18 pt and Grades 1 and 2 at 16 pt, in Andika, a font made for early readers. Grade 3 and up prints in Nunito at 11 pt. Hindi and Arabic words print in their own script, Hindi at 12 pt and Arabic at 13 pt, at every level.
