Copy a prompt for an AI chat

Copy a prompt filled in from your page into any AI chat, then bring the answer back.

Copy a prompt

  1. Open a generator, the MCQ generator or the question paper generator from All tools and sign in with Google, Microsoft or a code we email you.
  2. Under Draft mode, choose Copy a prompt.
  3. Fill in the page. The prompt fills in as you type, and a line names any field it still needs.
  4. Press Copy text, then paste the prompt into ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini.
  5. Paste the answer where the page says: into your document, or into the page's own boxes on the MCQ generator and the question paper generator.

Good to know

  • This mode needs no AI key, and in this mode the page sends nothing to an AI. You choose what to paste and where.
  • Leave out student names and contact details: the AI chat receives everything in the prompt.
  • Check every answer before you use it. An AI chat can be wrong.
  • Choose Template to go back. The template draft stays on the page in both modes.
  • Improve with AI is a separate switch on the generators, and it uses your own key. Your key stays on this device.
