Grade calculator

A final percentage from scores, maximums and weights.

Work out a final grade

  1. Open the grade calculator from All tools and sign in with Google, Microsoft or a code we email you.
  2. Add a row for each test or assignment: the score and the maximum.
  3. Type a weight for every row, such as 40 and 60.
  4. Read the final percentage and its method, then press Copy result.

When a row is refused

  • A score above its maximum is refused, and a line says why. For bonus marks, raise the maximum.
  • A row with only a score or only a maximum holds the result back until you finish it or clear it.

Good to know

  • Each weight counts as its share of the total, so 40 and 60 give the same answer as 2 and 3.
  • If any row has no weight, every row counts the same, and the page says so beside the result.
  • Your scores stay on this device until you sign out. Copy the result to keep it.
