Type your words, then print hangman puzzles and an answer key.
Make a hangman sheet
- Open the hangman generator from All tools and sign in with Google, Microsoft or a code we email you.
- Type your words in Words, one per line or with commas. Up to 40 words fit on one sheet, with up to 16 letters each.
- Choose 2 or 4 words on a page.
- Press Build sheet, then choose A4 or Letter and press Print or Download PDF. The answer key comes after the puzzles.
Play the game
- One person knows the word. The others guess one letter at a time and cross it out in the alphabet under the blanks.
- A right letter goes on each of its blanks. A wrong one adds a line to the drawing.
- Press Shuffle to put the words in a new order.
Good to know
- Each word gets the alphabet of its own script: A to Z, the Hindi letters or the Arabic letters. A letter the word uses outside A to Z, such as Ñ, is added at the end.
- A Hindi conjunct or a letter with its marks is one blank. Arabic words run from the right.
- A space is a gap, and a hyphen or an apostrophe is printed as it is.
- Your word list is saved to your items and opens on every device you sign in on.
